Hebrew book-burning’ minister Farouk Hosni is front-runner to head Unesco

The Egyptian Minister of Culture, Faruk Hosni, who is a candidate for the nomination of General-Secretary of UNESCO, has attacked, in terms that echo antisemitism, the "Jews" who act against his candidacy, among others through their control over all the medias,. According to the Al Bawaba web site, Hosni has expressed his attitude and views regarding the UNESCO during a meeting with the members of the Writers' Union in Egypt.

During this meeting, Hosni has said that up to now, he is the leading candidate for the position of General-Secretary of the UNESCO and this bothers the Jews. Therefore, they work against him with much intensity in all the countries, and in such as way shows that they own all what is needed in terms of money and communication. In this context, Hosni has said: "My situation is excellent and this raises a huge confusion amongst those who are opposed to my candidacy because I am an Egyptian, an Arab and a Muslim."

According to him, the Jews control all the medias and it is impossible to publish an article against them in anyplace. He added that they act against him in intensive ways trough their focusing on the expression "books burning", and that "the Germans have written 48 articles against me within 24 hours". He stipulated that despite this fact, there are still some moderate Jews in Egypt and all over the world that support his candidacy.
